Ali has spoken at a wide variety of venues for a range of audiences. These topics include his inclusive interviewing workshop, empowerment, and social justice topics. Ali can also develop a custom talk to suit your needs. Here are some examples of various talks Ali has given.

Social Justice and Diversity

In these talks, Ali focuses on the importance of social equality, tools to address inequality, and self-empowerment. In these talks, Ali provides an in-depth exploration into systems of inequality (racism, sexism, homophobia, etc.) and tools to address these problems. He also talks about ways to “unlearn” inequality and to undo trauma associated with inequality. He also talks about his own journey and his process of empowerment.

Diversity and Islam

Ali has spoken about his relationship with Islam, sexuality, and his racial/ethnic identity. He is also is able to speak to current events, Muslim communities, and sexual identities.

Empowerment
Here, Ali talks about his own journey, his experiences with marginalization, and how individuals can apply these lessons to overcome their own experiences with inequality.

HIV/AIDS, PrEP, and Diversity.

Ali’s work has also focused on HIV/AIDS and social inequality. Thus, he is able to speak to issues around HIV/AIDS, PrEP (Pre-exposure prophylaxis), and social inequality.

Leather World Workshops
In his introduction to Leather Worlds, Ali provides a rundown of basic leather/BDSM terminology, practices and addresses issues of safety.
